Black & white tuxedo, short hair, male, born approx. 4/1/09, #11810
When Little Taz’s guardian became too elderly and frail to care for him any longer, he and his five feline companions lost the only home they’d ever known.
Although he can be reserved at first, Little Taz is a loving and devoted little guy when he gets to know you. He is especially fond of sitting with you on the desk and chewing pencils or sitting on your papers. When particularly happy, he kneads his paws and "makes biscuits", gives head butts, and will reward your attention with a loud throaty purr. If you aren’t paying him enough attention, Little Taz will put his paw on you or lick your arm. And he loves to sleep with you at night (snuggled under the covers) if you will permit it.
Little Taz would prefer to be your only love interest. He can coexist with another docile cat though will do his own thing and not interact much. While he had some exposure to dogs earlier in life, he doesn’t have any recent experience. Little Taz would do best in a quieter home; he’d likely be okay with calm older children, though a great deal of activity in the home would be too much for him.
All of Little Taz’s original companions have found their new homes; now it’s his turn. If you give him a chance, you will have a loyal companion who just wants to be by your side.
The Rescue House is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to assisting cats through its rescue, foster and adoption activities. We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless and abused cats. We open our arms to cats that need assistance, regardless of age and often regardless of handicap. We find good homes for every cat that we take in - we are a true no-kill cat rescue organization.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We at The Rescue House believe that we can contribute to the welfare of our furry friends by implementing an Adoption Program. Our Adoption Process...
All prospective adopters must complete an application and be interviewed as part of the adoption process.
