Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arriving in Wisconsin on November 13th. Adoption pending!
Sunny is purebred Shih Tzu. She is an owner surrender from a family that bought her from a breeder but could not properly care for her. Sunny is a sweet and playful 6 month old puppy. She enjoys other dogs, mostly small/medium sized. She's learning to play with them and loves toys. Sunny knows how to walk well on a leash. She also rides well in the car. She is housetrained and crate trained, but doesn't really need the crate. She has been left alone for 6 hours and has not had an accident or been destructive. She's a spoiled girl so she sleeps in the bed at night and likes to snuggle and give kisses. Sunny might look like a foo-foo dog but she also loves to run outside with her dog friends and comes back to the house dirty with leaves in her hair, just as happy as can be! Sunny needs an adopter that understands she needs to be groomed every 4-6 weeks and brushed often in between to keep her hair in good shape. The groomer gave her a good report for her first trip.
Sunny would do best in a home with adults and older children that can handle her with care. She currently weighs 10.02 pounds and might grow to be 12-14 pounds. Please consider making this wonderful girl part of your family.
The adoption process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
