This good-looking guy with the gorgeous smile is Jasper! He's 4 years old and a true Mutt, possibly with Shepherd or Terrier in the mix. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, house trained & crate trained. He gets along great with dogs & cats but is looking for the right home where he can live happily in a quiet household.

We've known and loved this beautiful boy for a few years! We met Jasper when he was at a rescue we previously volunteered for and he stole our hearts right away. The rescue recently changed owners and we were asked if we could take him in. Who could say no to that face? He's spent his short life being bounced around from Foster Homes, training & boarding so we're going to do our best to find him a stable & dedicated Forever Home where he will be loved & cherished for the rest of his life!

Jasper is a big love bug and the best friend a girl or guy could ask for! He's always by his Foster Mom's side and has the sweetest habit of gazing at his her with eyes full of love - it makes her heart mushy! Sitting on laps is a specialty of his and he's a wonderful cuddle buddy! Utterly gorgeous with big brown eyes, expressive eyebrows & a smile that will brighten your day, this sweet boy is definitely a heart-stopper!

Playful & energetic, Jasper likes toys, enjoys playing with his canine friends and likes going for car rides. He has a weakness for snacks, especially carrots & peanut butter, and he likes chewing on deer antlers.

If you'd like to give this good-looking guy with the gorgeous smile the promise of forever, please visit our website to learn about our Adoption Process and fill out an Adoption Application.

About Meacham's Mutts

About Our Rescue Group...

Meacham's Mutts is a St. Louis, Missouri based dog rescue group. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit that is fully licensed and insured. The MM mission is to help the most unwanted dogs, the most undesired dogs, and the dogs who are most in need. We are advocates and lovers of the bully breeds, the overlooked black dogs, and dogs in kill shelters with unfair labels. Meacham's Mutts believes in second chances, and we love to provide that opportunity to homeless dogs that ultimately become beloved pets and family members.

We hope that you join us in our mission that is so dear to us as we fight for the underdogs!

Our Adoption Process...

If you're interested in becoming a Foster Parent or would like to adopt a Meacham's Mutt, please familiarize yourself with our protocol and requirements. All applications are thoroughly processed and only approved applicants will be considered for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny an application at any time during the process.

As part of our Application Process, approved applicants will have their personal and veterinary references verified. All resident pets, and other pets in the home, must be up to date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and current on necessary preventative care, especially Heartworm preventative for dogs. We require Landlord permission, if applicable, and we will not place dogs in cities, counties or areas where they may be subjected to a breed ban.

Once approved, we will then schedule a Home Inspection to ensure that the living conditions are safe, healthy, and the best environment for that dog.

When a Foster or Adoption applicant is fully approved, we will send the dog on a Trial Visit, which can last up to two weeks. Once the Trial Visit is over, we will then conclude whether the dog is to be fostered, or adopted, by the applicant.

If you'd like to adopt a Meacham's Mutt and are ready to start the Application Process, please fill out an Adoption Application´╗┐.
