He is obsessed with playing tug o' war - when he's done he'll crash into a nap! He loves all people and loves to hike and camp. He is currently sharing his foster home with a senior dog and is gentle and respectful of him. This sweet boy may be a little shy at first but he warms up quickly. He is not at all aggressive although he will bark if alarmed. He is crate trained and sweet natured. All in all, a jewel of a dog and ready for his forever home right now.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Donnie, a Encino Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Encino, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
