MEET SYLVIE — an adorable tricolor, 5-6 yr old, 15-lb (but could stand to lose a pound or two) Yorkie mix with mismatched ears! She came to us with an extremely large lipoma (fatty tumor) on her chest, which we had removed and was found to be benign. Sylvie loves her naps on the couch, but also enjoys playing with the other dogs. She will lay in a dog bed and chew on toys by herself or will happily play with you. She will give kisses and loves to be petted and talked to. She is a sweet, loving, quiet girl. She eagerly greets you with her wiggly tail and little licks when you come home. She loves to walk and is good on a leash. Her little legs are short, so she takes a walk around the block and she is ready for a nap! She would be okay with respectful kids (8 years old and up, please). She is not one to roughhouse. Sylvie seems to be house-trained in her foster home, but we never guarantee. Do you have room in your heart for this cutie pie?

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
