Greta came to us from a very sad story. She was found laying next to her best friend, along side the road, who had been hit and killed by a car. She did not want to leave her best friend but after some time, some good people were able to catch her. We thought that Greta might have even been hit by a car as she appeared to have a limp to her leg, but x-rays showed she was just fine.
Greta is about a year and a half old female boxer mix. She is very sweet, very loving but a timid girl. It takes her a bit to warm up to strangers at first but once she knows she is safe, she quickly loves the attention. She loves play time out in the yard with other dogs. She is very affectionate to adults especially females. She would be best in a home with a fenced in yard and kids that are 15 or older. She likes to chase cats but will not hurt him. She would love to be lazy and snuggle all day long on your lap if she could. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night and while her foster mom is away at work.
