Skipper's Story...
This adorable little guy is 3 1/2 month old Skipper. He is super friendly, social and active! He loves to run and climb and play. He's even a talkative kitty. He loves to play with his brother Gilligan and with other kittens and he even likes the friendly dog he lived with in his foster home. He would do best adopted with another kitten to keep him occupied. Skipper is super friendly and sweet but he doesn't like to be held still for long. He is always ready to play! He is litter box trained, neutered, tested, microchip, dewormed and has age-appropriate vaccinations. Skipper can't wait to find his forever happy home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skipper, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
