Hey there, looking for an awesome little dog? That would be me! My name is CHACHI, and I am a Chihuahua-mix, but that is only a guess. Before Colorado Canine Rescue (a non-profit) brought me to the Denver area, I was a stray in a rural Colorado shelter so there is no history on me. But Foster Mom has learned some things since I have been with her. She can tell you that I love to play with other dogs - in fact, she thinks I should have a canine sibling who likes to play as much as I do. A yard to play in would be nice, too, but it must have an escape-proof fence because I am really good at finding a way out! Cats are okay, but they don’t seem to like to play much. People, though – oh, how I like people – of all ages! Adults are great for taking me on walks and for petting and cuddling, and kids are so much fun to play chase with! I am crate-trained, but I much prefer curling up next to Foster Mom on her bed (unless I get cold, then I snuggle under the covers). And I am house-trained (although there might be an accident or two while I am getting used to my forever home). Don’t I sound like the dog for you? Please goon-line right now to fill out an adoption application at www.coloradocaninerescue.org. CCR is asking a $175.00 adoption donation for me, which is such a deal because I am neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative and microchipped. Remember, though, the Rescue can’t guarantee my breed composition or my age – but you won’t care about that once you meet me!
