Aubree's Story...
Meet AUBREE!!
This sweet 5 month old, mixed breed, spayed female, is currently 14 pounds and super adorable. Found in South Texas running in the street with her littermates by a good samaritan. Only 4 survived their living conditions. Mom is a dachshund mix, dad is anyone's guess! Great in a crate, but not yet potty trained. She is inquisitive and seems very smart. Loves toys and playing with her siblings. Sleeps soundly thru the night. No children under 10 please. Aybree is spayed, up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm negative, and is micro-chipped. Comes with a health certificate. Preferred home has a yard she can play in, and no children under 10 please.

Aubree is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted.

Local adopters must meet same requirements as out of state adopters.

Adoption fee is $170, and transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185. Dog may be flown also, if desired, at airline rates.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aubree, a Troutville Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Troutville, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Troutville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troutville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troutville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troutville paves the way for another one to be saved.
