Houdini's Story...
Houdini is a playful 5 year old male pit bull terrier. He prefers to be an indoor pup and loves to just be in the same room as his family. Kisses are abundant and you may even get a few dances out of him when he gets excited. He is a very fast learner and just wants to please you. He does incredibly well with other dogs and has yet to meet a person he doesn't love. Please contact me for more information. clairebarge@bellsouth.net or 404-923-0573. There is a small adoption fee.

All our dogs live in foster homes. Please contact the foster home email listed for more information and and an adoption application. Please note, our adoptions are not done on a "first come first serve" basis. We are looking for the best possible match for our dogs and reserve the right to select or refuse an application at our discretion. CAN is a 100% volunteer-based rescue and all our volunteers have jobs, families and dogs to take care of. Thank you for your patience and understanding if we don't get back to you immediately.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Houdini, a Ball Ground Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Ball Ground, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Ball Ground.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ball Ground already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ball Ground breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ball Ground paves the way for another one to be saved.
