My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dakota! Do not let her age fool you, this girl is full of life, even though hers has not been the greatest. Dakota was found as a stray with an enormous tumor hanging from her abdomen. It is unknown how long this sweet girl had to live like this, but we do know that it was far too long. At roughly 8 years old Dakota has obviously been through a lot, but her luck is about to change. Her tumor was removed and found not to be cancerous so now our focus is on finding her a forever home. Dakota deserves a home where she can be a part of family, preferably one with no cats! Dakota has done great with other dogs while with us and just needs a place where she no longer has to scavenge for her dinner and wonder where she will rest at the end of the day!
