Salem's Story...
Salem was found in the middle of a roadway and taken in by a compassionate citizen who was driving by at the time. There's some speculation that he was dumped from a vehicle that was seen stopped nearby and caught on the rescuer's dashcam at the time of his discovery; that vehicle sped away when the rescuer approached. He was suffering with a serious upper respiratory infection and his eyes was terribly infected. You can see a photo of him when found at the link below. He is a happy, healthy, playful and sweet kitty, now, who is looking for his forever home!

You can see the dashcam video from the moment he was found in the roadway at https://youtu.be/-_P7IhIY3MM.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Salem, a Wichita Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
