Sissy's Story...
Help find Sissy a home! She's a sweet 7 month old pitty and lab mix. Her foster family works with her everyday and she's doing great with her commands. She knows sit, down, and comes when called. She is such an easy girl to teach and is very food motivated. She loves the interaction and loves to be taught. As you can see from her pictures, Sissy truly loves other dogs and children and would thrive in a home with kids and other dogs. Being a younger dog, Sissy has a lot of energy and would do well in an active family who can provide her adequate exercise. She also really enjoys rides in the car. She does not do well with cats however. She does well in the care and is spayed, up to date on shots, potty trained, and microchipped.

If you would like to meet Sissy, please email us at Her adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip, spay, and heartworm testing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Overland Park Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
