I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Darrell's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Darrell's Story...
Darrell is looking for his new best friend- could that be you? He's an easy going guy who doesn't ask for a lot. A little walk (he walks great on the leash), some time in the sunshine, some pets and a soft bed. See? Not such crazy requests! In return, Darrell is going to give you ALL his doggy love and loyalty. Now that's a bargain! ;-)

Darrell is a sweet and gentle senior dog at 8 yrs old, who wants to find a true furever this time around. The shelter is no place for any dog, especially our senior friends. Can YOU be Darrell's furever?

You can visit him in D building at our West Valley Animal Care Center in Phx (2500 S. 27th Ave.). Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. His $20 adoption fee includes neuter, County license and rabies certificate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darrell, a Phoenix Australian Kelpie/Labradoodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/Labradoodle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/Labradoodle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/Labradoodle breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/Labradoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
