Fabulous Fiver is a super unqiue looking bun-bun with a large round body and sensitive soul. This sweet young man is looking for his new forever home because his previous owner could not provide the care that Fiver needed.

Fiver has beautiful soft fur that does require regular grooming to prevent mats. He builds trust slowly but once he does he will allow you to brush him and will even jump in your lap with coaxing. Fiver has been in care for a long time and deserves a loving home where he can bond with his guardian(s). He loves his kale and loves when you give him a craisan as a treat. His past times include chewing on cardboard and laying in a bed of hay. He may be a candidate to bond with a resident rabbit.

Fiver is cautious of us since coming into the shelter, so it will be best if his next owner has rabbit experience and the patience to work with his personality. With some tender and loving care, Fiver may warm up to you!

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
