Versace's Story...
Hi my name is Versace, I was living outside an apartment building. After my owners moved they left me outside to fend for myself. Out in the scary world I had two litters of babies before someone finally decided to try and get me help! I have now raised my last litter of babies and am looking for a real forever home. I would do best in a quiet home without loud young children, as I am a little nervous. Once I am comfortable in my surroundings you'll see my true personality come out. I like to chatter at my foster mama and rub all over her legs purring waiting for her to feed me or pet me. I'm content to take a nap in the sun coming through the window, sleeping on a cushy bed, or even just a soft blanket. I'm just so happy to be inside. I hope there is someone out there who will give me a chance to show you what a great kitty I am! Love, Versace

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Versace, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
