TRIPPER & Sassy's Story...
Tripper and Sassy are a very bonded pair of little Cocker Spaniels. They must be adopted together into the same home and never be separated. Tripper is a handsome chocolate boy, and Sassy is mostly white with some greyish Merle and tannish markings--very pretty and unusual coloring. Sassy is fine with kids, but Tripper is a little nervous around them, so it would be best to place them in a home without children. We would also like to place them in a home with perhaps a retired couple or someone who can be home with them most of the time. Their current daddy is having some serious health issues and needs to find a loving home for them where they will be loved and spoiled and will never be separated. They love to go for walks and are very good on leash. they also love to run in the back yard or at the dog park. Tripper watches out for his sister, Sassy, as she is deaf, and Sassy always stays close to him. The are about 7 years old. Read Sassy's listing as well. Call Ann at 805-499-4488 if you are interested in this great little pair of Cockers!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TRIPPER & Sassy, a Santa Barbara Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Santa Barbara, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Santa Barbara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Barbara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Barbara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Barbara paves the way for another one to be saved.
