My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm JACKSON, a 16 month old baby boy. They tell me I'm a Great Dane and that means I'm a very big doggy, but I don't know about that. I still think I'm a little guy who loves cuddling in laps and staring at my humans adoringly. I used to be super skinny, but since I've arrived at my foster home I've gained an amazing 24lbs, making me 114.6lbs in total. I'm a happy boy who gets along well with other dogs and people. My foster mom says when I play with my foster fur sister Bunny (also a Great Dane and adopted from Just Paws), we look like giraffes galloping all over the place. My recall is pretty good, and I'm a curious guy who likes to investigate things on the table. No worries though, I'll give up my prizes as long as you let me have a short wrestling match! I also like to investigate things along my walks.

I still have lots of puppy energy, and my personality is described as 'lugnut'. I'm house trained and do still require some work with my leash, but I'm so good natured that I think I'll have that down in no time flat. I would do well in a home with older children who like to play with a "big galumphing lughead" such as myself! A fenced in backyard and a fur sibling would be great too! Just remember, in spite of my size, I'm still very much a puppy, and would benefit from some doggy classes.

I look forward to hearing from you, and I hope to meet you soon, lots of hugs and slobbery kisses!
