Kasey's Story...
Kasey #5418 is an adorable 4-month-old female Shepherd mix. She is a typical sweet and playful puppy. Kasey is good with other dogs. She had her front leg amputated due to an old injury that heeled wrong and caused her to walk on side of her wrist. She has recovered well and gets along just fine on three legs. Her foster mom reports she has no troube getting on the sofa, and she likes to "tak." She rides great in the car. She is expected to weigh about 50 pounds as an adult. This pup is microchipped. We are working on crate training and socialization. Just like any puppy, this pup will need a loving home with an adopter that has the time to commit to continued puppy training to assist with house, leash and obedience training. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. This pup should be available for adoption on Saturday, November 12. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates. www.facebook.com/LCARMD

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kasey, a Waldorf German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
