Meet sweet Dudley. His life has not started off that great. Dudley ended up in a shelter as a young puppy. He was thereafter adopted out by a family. We were recently contacted by a vet's office who wanted us to save Dudley. His owners did not have the time for him and felt they could no longer handle him. They were at a loss as to what to do. They did not want him to go to a shelter where he would be put down although they were contemplating doing that themselves. DITR stepped in immediately and thankfully got him into a foster home.
As some may remember, Dudley ran away from his foster home and had been missing for almost a month. Someone was watching over Dudley and we found him safe sitting in a local pound.
Dudley is a gentle giant. His heart is as big as he is. Dudley loves all people. He just wants to please and to be loved in return. Something he hasn't had much of in his life.
He needs slow intros to other dogs but then really enjoys their company. He loves to play and run. Dudley would benefit from a fenced in yard. Dudley is not a fan of small animals or cats.
Dudley would make any family the perfect, loyal companion. Could that be your family?
