Description:

I’m a little bit of a social media star, in case you didn’t know. Whatever that means. My foster mom tries to tell me that people from all over the world watched my journey to recovery.  I am affectionate and social at heart. I love to develop close relationship with my human companions. I am not a fan of being picked up and held, that is just weird to me. I have a big heart and can't wait to share all of my love with a special family of my own.

I love to put my eyes and ears to work, soaking up the sights and sounds of the world around me. Climbing cat trees, bird watching from the windows and hanging with my kitty friends are few of my favorite things to do. Cat nip… I’m kind of addicted. I love toys with cat nip inside. I will carry them around and tell you how amazing they are while doing it.

I get along with other cats and dog are a different thing. I’d prefer a dog free home. Young kids move to fast for me and are just too loud. I can be around older respectful children.

No one knows exactly what my age, because I am a survivor of an animal hoarding case. I had to have a full dental extraction. Oh but don’t worry. That doesn’t slow me down at all. I eat canned food like a champ and gets into a feeding routine, very easily. When it is dinner time I run to my room and wait to be fed.

·       Needs a companion animal: She does well having a buddy to play and snuggle up with, but isn't a great match for hyperactive animals.

·       Good with dogs: She previously lived with dogs.

·       Good with children:  She would do fine with older, patience children.

Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested, receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption.

About Saving One Life

About Our Rescue Group...

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, no kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

We primarily work with cats and kittens of all ages. We frequently take in "behavioral cases" including semi-ferals needing rehabilitation. We do take in purebred cats of all kinds but specialize in the Cornish Rex and Devon Rex. We occasionally have small dogs to medium dogs available. The majority of our animals come from the euthanasia list at the pound or off the rescue list at the humane society. We do have occasional owner surrenders, but we prefer to help those most in need first.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidently got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our cats & kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, blood tested for felv/fiv, dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fee's range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely no kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care. Our animals all live in homes with foster parents so that they can be acclimated to all sorts of situations and so that they can live as a part of a family until finding their "forever family" instead of in kennels or cages.

Come Meet Our Pets...

A few of our fabulous cats and kittens can be seen at 2860 E Germann Rd, Chandler, AZ 85286. Call the store or email if you are looking to see if a particular one may be there, otherwise with a completed application we are happy to schedule an appointment with any of the animals in foster homes.

When contacting to find out about a cat/kitten emails are ALWAYS preferred and will get a much faster response. If you are leaving a phone message please speak clearly, leave your name, the name of the animal you are interested in, phone number and a brief message.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with our application which can be found at www.savingonelife.org. After you submit an application please expect a response within 48 hours - please email if you do not get a response in that time frame. We may ask for a phone interview as well if we have additional lengthy questions. We may require home visits for special needs animals on a case by case basis. If you visit a kitty at Petsmart and want to adopt please either submit an application online or in person at the store with one of our volunteers.

We will adopt to out of state adopters but we do NOT ship animals under any conditions. You must come to us in person to meet the animal and make sure it is a mutual match. We have had many adopters come from the states around us and drive or fly with their new family member back.
