I'm a shy, gentle, young canine, searching for kind and patient owners who are willing to support and help me so that I can gain confidence and trust in this world. I am scared and anxious in new situations, especially when there's a lot of activity and noise, and my default is to avoid conflict by leaving a situation I'm not comfortable in or making myself small. My friends on the Behavior and Training Team are working with me to overcome my fears, and they will make sure we get off on the right paw when I go home with you. A quieter home with adults and possibly some older, calmer kids would suit me best. My friends don't know how I would be with cats or dogs yet, since I haven't really been myself in this new environment. Treat me sweetly and give me lots of treats, and I'll blossom. When I blossom, you should probably expect that I'll be an active pup, needing physical and mental enrichment because I am a pup, after all! If you love me, but can't take me home, please ask the staff about sponsoring. It's always appreciated.
