Uzu's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Uzu's Story...
Funny, playful, and adorable Uzu is the kitten you've been looking for! "Uzu" is the Japanese word for "swirl", and his amazing coat lives up to the name! Uzu is a great all-around guy, and would be a wonderful addition to any family. Uzu would love to be adopted with either his sister, Mari, or his brother, Chibi. He could also join another very young cat, or kitten in your home.

If you would like to meet, and possibly adopt Uzu, contact Cindy at (773)203-0215, or email cindy@chicagocatrescue.org.

We only adopt locally, and never ship cats or kittens.

Chicago Cat rescue is dedicated to not only the physical, but the emotional well being of the cats and kittens in our care. Because of that, we only adopt kittens out in pairs, or to join another very young cat or kitten in your home. No exceptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Uzu, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
