This beautiful black and tan girl is Vienna..... as in sausage! She weighed 24lbs when we pulled her out of the Downey Shelter. We signed her up for Jenny Craig and she currently weighs 20.3 lbs. we would like to see her at 15pounds. This is an awesome dog with a perfect disposition. We have no idea what she was doing in the shelter as she is a perfect gem! We have her in foster care and she is completely housebroken with an open door, fantastic with all other dogs and cat safe as well. Vienna loves everyone she meets. She is currently managing her weight with limited food portions and two walks a day. She goes on 3 mile walks at her foster home and loves every second of it. I have never seen a dog love her walks more then Vienna. We are looking for Dachshund savvy people who love and understand the breed. This breed has the potential for back problems which is why her weight loss is a major priority in her placement. Vienna is a great little Doxie and will make a perfect addition into any home situation. This will be the best Dachshund you will ever own, we 100% guarantee it! Vienna is sponsored by: 1. Helen Evers honoring the memory of Fritz Marlene Dantzers Guinea Pig adopted from Animals Rule.
