Winston's Info...

Winston's Story...
Winston is a gorgeous young male pointer (mix?!?) He is very smart and loves to please his person. He is a little rough when he plays with other dogs and will either need another dog that plays hard, too or to be the only dog. We have not had him around children but with his high energy level I would say he may not be good with small children. He is easily directed with ball play and does well with treats, too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Indian Trail Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Indian Trail, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Indian Trail.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indian Trail already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indian Trail breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indian Trail paves the way for another one to be saved.
