Facts about Tank (Foster)

  • Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Tank is well-behaved and seems to be used to being in a house.

Tank LOVES children, especially goofy little boys. My son is 10, and his 8,9 and 10 yo friends are a huge hit. Tank doesn't mind the noise or the chaos.

Tank seems to like the cats. The sleep next to one another, and they get along. He really wants to play with them, appropriately it seems, and sometimes they go along with that.

Tank is housebroken. He gets that he needs to go to the door to go out. He doesn't seem to care about long walks or short walks. Have an easy walk harness makes him easy for me or my son to take him out. He's not a puller, in general, but would chase a squirrel or a deer if he can!

He understands the crate. He is a good watchdog. He is quiet when in the house with us. It takes him a while to warm up to strangers especially males.

He wants to eat like a cat, which is weird, but it's okay because he's housebroken. He's a grazer. He does not beg, and he doesn't really have much interest in stealing food on a coffee table.

He loves sleeping in the bed with us. He doesn't like being on his own at night and will cry if separated.

Loves balls. Likes squeak toys. Knows sit. Doesn't really jump up on people. He's okay not in a crate. Not destructive, not a chewer.

He's a lap dog snuggler in his heart.
