Willamena is a special girl that loves to spend time with her humans. She easily gets along with other cats and has quickly adjust to the large resident dog. She spent a considerable amount of time without human interaction in a shelter and had to learn about being in a home, but immediately gravitated towards cuddling and spending time with her foster mom. She had quite a few medical conditions when the rescue took her in, which were treated and made her much more comfortable. She did lose most of her teeth due to decay, but happily eats wet food twice a day and snacks on small kibble. She will need to maintain a wet food diet and loves seafood just like the other pets in her foster home. She can be unsure with hands extending towards her after quite some time without this, so she needs a patient caregiver who will understand this as she adjusts to living in a home. She quickly warms up to new people and animals and is eager to be someone's companion.
Willamena is a Lynx point Siamese Mix.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
