My name is Caramel and I am one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. My foster mom would agree! I am up to date on shots, spayed, and house trained. I love people especially kids and I like to have lots of dog friends too. My foster mom says I am a bit of an escape artist so I should not be left alone outside. I am looking for the perfect family and I am hoping I find them soon. Please consider making me a new member to your family
We rescue dogs from high kill shelters on their last adoptable day, often minutes before being killed. Most of the dogs in our program have been rescued from rural shelters in North Carolina. We do not rescue a specific breed of dog, and believe all dogs deserve a wonderful loving home. Once a dog is rescued, they are taken to the vet for vaccinations, they are neutered or spayed and receive a heartworm test. If positive, our rescue raises money for the costly heartworm treatments and takes care of that before they are adopted. Our dogs live in a foster home until they are adopted and are located in North Carolina. We have had many successful adoptions in NC, SC and VA and have transported as far as Colorado and Minnesota so distance is not an issue!

Our Adoption Process...
Our dogs are typically pulled from shelters on their final day prior to being euthanized. Our adoption process consists of a phone or face to face interview, home visit, reference check, and vet check. Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $150. Puppies adoption fee is $350. Small breed or pure bred are $350. 100% of all fees go back into the rescue to rescue and vet additional dogs.
