Pekingese Dog for adoption in El Cajon, California - Cookie (in adoption process)

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Cookie (in adoption process)'s Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Cookie (in adoption process)'s Story...
Spayed, all shots current, housebroken, recent anesthetic dental, good with other dogs, (haven't tried cats but this breed is known to be good with cats) and she is the dog wife of Otis.

Cookie is an easy dog with no issues. She will wrestle and play with other dogs and then instantly melt into your arms and fall asleep when you pick her up. Named Cookie because of her sweetness and coat the color of a sugar cookie, she loves walks and is great on a leash. Before being rescued, she was used for breeding due to her attractive qualities desired in the breed, such as her walrus like teeth. She is not yippee and her foster mother reports that she has never heard her bark, even when the other foster dogs do, she does not join in.

Cookie is in good health with the vet stating, "She has a nice, slow heartbeat!" She is the perfect match to Otis, her breeding partner who was rescued with her. They are so bonded, they will only be adopted to someone looking for a pair. The two wrestle and play all day so an owner doesn't have to worry while away from the home as the pair keeps each other from being lonely. Please check out Otis and consider if this is the pair you have been looking for.

Interested adopters, please call Mary Ann at (949) 218-3755 or email her at mvnews1@yahoo.com
Their adoption fee is $295 for the first one and $150 on sweet Otis; her Romeo:)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie (in adoption process), a El Cajon Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
