Letty's Story...
Hello!!! My name is Letty. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I have a laid back and gentle personality that would fit in with almost any family. When I meet new people, I start off very calm so I can show them I am sweet and they don't need to be threatened by me. I am very good about approaching everyone in the room so I can rub against them and nuzzle my head into their side.

After a little bit of time, so we can all get to know each other, I will show my more playful side. I am still pretty calm, but I will bounce around a little checking everything out before coming back to be next to my new friends.
I love giving people hugs and am happiest when I am able to stand on my back legs while a person I care for cradles me in their arms almost like we are slow dancing together. If you are interested in having a cuddly and loving companion added to your family, please fill out an application for me today!

*Note: Letty is undergoing Heartworm treatment, but looks forward to a future with a family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Letty, a St. Louis American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
