My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! I’m Nash! I am a happy, healthy, chocolate colored beagle puppy with gorgeous golden eyes. I’m not sure how a cute boy like me ends up in an animal shelter but that is exactly what happened. I’m so glad Midwest BREW found me! They were able to have my cherry eye corrected with surgery and now I’m all healed up and ready to find a family to call my own, although you’ll have to excuse my pictures as the fur is still growing back in around my eye.
I am an energetic, mischievous puppy but foster mom thinks someone taught me a few basics at some point. I can sit on command, I always take care of my potty business outside and I’m crate trained. I love to snuggle up close with people. To hear the magic words that I’m a “good boy” sends my whole body into joyful wiggles. I drew quite a bit of attention during a visit to the pet store with my happy dance I did for everyone there!
I get along good with the other beagles in my foster home. The one grumpy one likes his space and I have no problem with that. I would probably do better in a home without small children because sometimes I can’t help but jump up on people. They tell me that’s not a “good boy” so I’m trying to work on that, but I get so excited sometimes! I also like to grab things from the human’s hands. I’m just trying to have a little fun but apparently they don’t like that either. I am very gentle taking treats. Did I mention I LOVE treats?! Food makes learning so much fun and I still need to gain a few pounds anyways!
I am looking for a family that can handle the high energy of a beagle puppy and that has the time to continue my training. I have already had a really good head start on my basic manners but I hear there’s fun classes for dogs and their families so maybe my new family could do that with me! I am a very smart boy and learn new things fast!
If you think I'm the boy for you, get in contact with MW BREW!! My foster mom can answer any questions you have about me!
