Charlie's Story...
Meet Charlie. This is one amazing puppy, and I am not just saying that because I like to brag about my rescues. He is smart and witty and will bring much joy to your life. Charlie is one of the last puppies we have available that were rescued from the floodwaters. I can’t figure out why this little hound mix doesn’t have a forever home yet. He is great with other dogs, doesn’t mind cats, has ears that do amazing things, is up to date on shots and is great on a leash. He will grow up to be about 45 pounds. That’s the perfect size, right? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a New Orleans Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in New Orleans, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in New Orleans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Orleans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Orleans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Orleans paves the way for another one to be saved.
