About Our Shelter...
The Taylor County, WI Humane Society, Inc. is dedicated to educating our community on responsible pet ownership, on the importance of spay/neuter, and on providing loving and caring homes for all animals.
The Goals of Our Humane Society : To bring together individuals who care for and about animals To develop plans for the welfare of all animals To assist people in finding loving & caring homes for domestic animals To take appropriate action in cases of actual or suspected cruelty to animals To promote the spaying & neutering of domestic animals To demonstrate the harmful effects animal overpopulation has on the health and welfare of our community To opperate a viable animal shelter for Taylor County

Hours Open to the Public: Monday - CLOSED Tuesday - CLOSED Wednesday - 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday - 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday - 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday - 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday - CLOSED Special Times by Appointment
Our Adoption Process...
All animals of appropriate age are spayed/neutered and have all shots, including rabies. Prices are:
$125 Male Puppies (6 months old or less) $150 Female Puppies (6 months old or less) $150 Small Breed Male Adults $175 Small Breed Female Adults $100 Medium/Large Breed Male Adults $125 Medium/Large Breed Female Adults Feline Adoption Rates $60 Unaltered Cats and Kittens $80 Altered Cats and Kittens An adoption form is filled out on sight.
