Hello I am Peter a 18 week old bundle of joy.
Peter is a very sweet and loving puppy. He can be shy at first but with love and encouragement he is very playful, active, and gives lots of kisses. He is looking for a loving and active home that will take him on lots of walks, hikes, running around outdoors, and having activities to do indoors (such as toys and chewing treats). He loves to go places with you and be included in your daily activities.
He can be nervous around new people and situations but when he is encouraged and supported through these new events he learns and accepts things very well.
At times, he has gone potty when excited or nervous but this has decreased as we have exposed him to more experiences and people.
He LOVES other dogs that are friendly and playful. He can play with other friendly, playful dogs for long periods of time like wrestling and especially playing tug.
He is looking for a patient and dedicated home that can continue to keep a close eye on him and teach him the rules of being indoors (continue reinforcing potty training, and teaching what is and is not appropriate to chew on through positive training).
With consistency and very routine schedules he hasn't had as many indoor "accidents". He is also crate trained well and has recently started sleeping throughout the entire night in his crate.
If you are looking for a sweet puppy that wants to be an important and active new member of your family come and meet Peter!!

About Kitsap Animal Rescue & Education (KARE)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a local, non-profit organization based out of Kitsap County that rescues at-risk pets and educates people for the sake of their pets.
Our goal is to educate people on understanding and learning how to communicate with their pets in hopes of reducing the number of homeless pets.
KARE rescues adoptable dogs and cats that may not thrive in the shelter environment and simply need a good home and a little training and TLC to make them great pets.
