If you have ever wanted a dog that will curl up on the couch and cuddle with you, Girlie is the dog for you. Not only is she affectionate, she is also playful and loves to go for walks. At approximately 1-2 years of age, Girlie is working on her potty training, but still needs a lot of patience and help. She has a hard time holding her bladder and will often have an accident if not taken outside quickly in the morning. Girlie is a tiny dog in a big world and sometimes feels the need to bark at new people or things that she is not yet sure of. Girlie has been exhibiting attachment issues that she displays through whining and needing a lot of human connection. This is something her forever human will have to help her through in reassuring her she is in a stable and safe environment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Girlie, a Regina Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Regina, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Regina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Regina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Regina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Regina paves the way for another one to be saved.
