11/2/16 Junior is a friendly, young Shar Pei mix who was surrendered by his family when the landlord would not allow them to keep him. Junior is about 7 months old and is a good boy. He is crate trained and was house trained with his previous family, although he will probably need a refresher course. He is in more of a shelter environment here, so I can't say if the house training stayed with him, but if not I'm sure he could learn it again quickly. Junior gets along very well with other dogs. His best friend here is Moses, a large male Pit Bull. They love to chase eachother around the yard and play rough. Junior's previous family included a young little girl and he did great with her. He could use some training to learn manners but otherwise he is a wonderful little guy. Junior is currently located in ARkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted. About Adopt-A-Stray - VT

About Our Rescue Group...

Adopt-A-Stray was founded in Jan. 2010, by Kelley Prichard. Since then, it has grown to include a few wonderful volunteers who work very hard to help ensure that our pets are place in loving, forever homes. We are based in Alexander, AR, but we list all of our available pets in the northeast. We work with several different transporters to get our babies to their new homes in the northeast once they are adopted. The transporters we use most often are Got Orphans Transport (www.gotransporters.com) and Alpha Dog (www.alphadogtransport.com).All pets are given age appropriate vaccinations before they leave. Every pet is seen by our vet prior to transport. If you see a pet listed that interests you, please be sure to read the description thoroughly and inquire to the email address listed. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
