Max's Story...
Hello my name is Max. I am a sweet pup looking for my furever home. I am a little timid when i first meet new people, but once I warm up I will love and snuggle you forever! I love people, kids, dogs and cats. I DO however get food aggressive. Sadly I was abused by the neighborhood kids when I was younger and I am still learning I don't need to protect my food. I would fit best in a quiet home with no kids and someone who has patience and can help teach me I don't have to protect my food. I love to snuggle and play and I am house trained. I am currently being fostered in a home with other dogs, cats and children. Woof Woof!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Venice Maltese/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Venice, or seeking a Maltese/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Venice.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Venice already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Venice breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Maltese/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Venice paves the way for another one to be saved.
