Friskie:
“For more”. “For cats with an appetite for life”. “Friskies feeds the senses”. Well, you can’t question why we named our girl Friskie when you read these Purina slogans. She will add so much more to your life. She does have a huge appetite for living life to the fullest. She is such a positive, affectionate and well mannered girl. Friskie is good for all your senses!

Friskie is estimated to be 5 1/2 years old. She has been spayed, combo tested negative and is current on all standard vaccinations. Friskie has Horners syndrome which is a non-contagious virus and it does not effect her health. Friskie is in foster and is not at the shelter.

If you would like to meet Friskie or our other adoptable cats or kittens, please call (508)576-8990 (leave a message if need be!).

Our Adoption Process...

You must be 18 years or older.
If you rent, you must have written permission from your landlord or parent if you are living at home.
We require that all cats adopted from us be kept as indoor pets only and that adopters do not declaw.
You must complete both sides of the adoption form and answer all questions. Our adoption counselors will evaluate the information on the form and will speak with you about your responses. Please be patient this process may take several days.
All adoptions must be approved by at least two of our adoption counselors.
All required adoption fees must be paid in full at the time of adoption.
We will provide all medical information that is known about the animal. You become responsible for any veterinarian bills once the animal has been adopted.
If for any reason, you do not keep the adopted animal, you must return the animal to the Paws of Plainville Animal Shelter.
You must provide proof that you have spayed or neutered the adopted animal pursuant to the terms of the adoption contract (for animals that are not already spayed or neutered). In some cases, if the shelter is unable to spay or neuter the animal before adoption, we can provide spay/neutering through a low cost clinic. A $40 deposit is required for cats that are not spayed/neutered yet, the deposit is refundable upon the adopter providing documentation that they had the animal spayed/neutered. Ask your adoption counselor for more information.
