Meet King, our 7yr old mellow, couch-loving Rottweiler who currently weighs 100lbs. King was brought to us from his owner who adopted him from a different rescue and he did not work In their home. He is very friendly and just wants to be loved. He does not enjoy the company of other dogs and therefore should be an only dog. We are unsure of how he is with children. King's ideal forever home would be an adult quiet home where he can live in peace and love and be spoiled rotten.

King has dry eye from a previous eye surgery & has medication for that. He is also a tad chunky and will benefit from loosing some weight. He has excellent leash manners so walks would be great.

King is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccination. His adoption fee is $500. If you would like to meet King, please submit an application.

About Forever Home Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs visit our vet for a health screening, are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.

Interested? Send us an email at info@foreverhomedogrescue.org and we'll send you a foster application. It's lots of fun and you will meet lots of dogs and other people who love dogs.
