Bethany's Story...
Weezie is a gorgeous lady around 1.5 years old, and may in fact be the perfect kitty. She has become a near and dear staff favorite because of her exceedingly kind, good nature; kind of like that amazing friend who never has a bad word to say about anybody. Weezie is so gentle that we joke she has no bones (she does, in fact, have bones), so she'd be an excellent choice for young kids or anyone who has ever longed for their very own floppy cat that likes to be held like a baby. If this is you, Ms. Weezie is here to make all your wildest dreams come true. Heck, her silky coat alone is worth the drive over just to feel its softness; we think she probably has chinchilla somewhere in her family tree, and she barely seems to shed.
Weezie exists peacefully in our free-roaming cat room and has perfect manners with the other kitties, and seems fine with respectful dogs. Her only special need is to be on a Urinary Diet to keep her clear of crystals - she has been doing wonderfully on this food while in our care. The lucky adopter to take her home would leave with a starter bag of this food. We all love Weezie so, but we know she is ready to find her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bethany, a Hendersonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hendersonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hendersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hendersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hendersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hendersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
