Dear Honey is the gentlest of souls and truly lives up to her name. There is a song from a Broadway musical called “A Heart Full of Love”, and it could have been written for Honey! She is a very sweet girl and is six years old. Honey is great on a leash and enjoys being close by your side on daily walks. She is housebroken and crate trained, too. Honey also loves to play in the shelter yard, where she bounds about happily and will bounce with joy. She has a beautiful gait that makes her a joy to behold! Honey is a  very bright dog who has learned to sit, shake your hand, and lay down. She also has an adorable move where she will bow to you. Honey is also quite agile and will catch treats you toss her way! Most of all, Honey adores sitting quietly by your side to be petted - she has a tender heart and savors attention and affection.

Honey does well with cats but would prefer to be the only dog in the household. She will truly be the queen of her castle! Honey is being treated for a skin condition she developed before arriving to the shelter, and she is recovering beautifully!
