Hi I am Jolly. I am looking for my own forever home.   I am 5 months old and I am a tiny girl weighting about 4 pounds.  My sister and our mom Jenna were found outside a veterinary clinic. The clinic folks were very nice to us but a clinic is sort of a scary place and you cannot play too much, and I LOVE to play!

The vet clinic folks called Help a Dog Smile Rescue and now I live in a foster home. I now live with my sister and  Uncle Enzo.  Enzo is available for adoption just like us, but he is way older and bigger than we are. Enzo is 7 years old and weighs about 13 pounds. We love playing with Enzo. We bite his ears, steal his food, run under his feet making him trip and take his sleeping spot. Sometimes he grumbles at us but we know that he adores us, so we jump on him until he runs away to another room!!! Mostly we play with each other and some of our toys.

My foster mom is very dedicated to my potty training lessons, so when I have accidents she takes me outside right away. So now I mostly just wait until I am outside to “do my business”.  I always last through the night without having any accidents. I sleep in a kennel or in a dog bed right by my foster mom’s bed. She is so proud of me for sleeping all through the night.

I am smaller than my sister Joy but I have longer legs, so I am faster than she is.  I like to meet new people and I love to explore.  I am not afraid of anything!  My sister Joy and I love to be outside in the yard. There are so many things out there I can put in my mouth.  My foster mom takes most of my new-found treasures away, but she always replaces them with little pieces of yummy carrots. I   MUST   always have someone out in the yard with me to keep me safe. I am simply too little to be exploring the yard on our own.

My foster mom is teaching me some commands. I know how to “stay” and I come to her when she whistles. If she claps her hands real loud I stop what I am doing, (this mostly happens when we are jumping on Enzo or chewing his ears and he makes that real funny grumbling noise).

I am a healthy puppy.  I have been spayed and have a micro-chip. I did have to have puppy shots too but I am all done with that. Yay!

I am ready for my forever home. Are you ready for me?   Because I am a puppy I am going to be with my family for a long time, a lifetime. Could you be my new family? If so, I would love to meet you! If you would like to meet me and you live in the Phoenix area, please fill out an online application at .  My adoption fee is $250 dollars.  Once you fill out an application my foster mom can contact you. She may even visit your home and yard so she can show you what tiny spaces I manage to get into. It seems like her favorite saying around me is “something else to puppy proof”.

About Help a Dog Smile

About Our Rescue Group...

Help A Dog Smile is a 501c3 non-profit Arizona corporation and member of PACC911. We are a group of volunteers who all have regular, full time jobs. We are passionate about helping the dogs entrusted to our care and will strive to find the perfect home for each dog. 100% of the funds received goes directly to the medical care of the dogs rescued.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoptions can be arranged by appointment or our dogs can be met on Saturdays at Petsmart, 7th Avenue & Bell Road in Phoenix 11am - 4pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption is a lifetime commitment. After an application and a verbal interview is completed and it is determined that the adoption is a compatible match, a contract is signed with specific guidelines. A nominal fee (usually between $175-$300) to help off-set medical, feeding and Rescue costs is collected. The contract states that at any time the adoption does not work out, the dog is to be returned to our Rescue group for alternate placement. The dog is not to be 'given away' or 'rehomed' or 'taken to the pound'. If there are other dogs in the home, they must meet prior to adoption. All family members in the household have to agree to the adoption. No dog is to be adopted as a 'gift'. No out of state adoptions.
