Happy's Story...
They call me Happy cuz I’m just so happy to be here! I’m about 14 weeks old, and my mom and I were rescued from a yard where we’d hidden after our lives went upside down. That yard had a couple of dogs who weren’t pleased with our arrival. We’re both okay, though. I landed in a great Magicats home, with friendly dogs and cats, and lots of activity. I’ve been having the time of my life! I know I’ll do great in my own Forever INSIDE ONLY home! I love people, friendly dogs, and older cats, but I need to remember not to play rough with smaller kitties. I’ve got lots to tell you about, too. I just love life! I’m neutered, current on my shots, negative for FIV/FELV and very healthy. Oh, and you can’t see it in this picture, but the rest of my coat is gray tabby and white, with a purr-fect wide white stripe right down the middle of my back. I think it’s very distinctive! My coat is short, too. I love to explore and play, but I’ve got a great purr and LOVE a good lap!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Happy, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
