Hello everyone out there! My name is DARLA and I am a big, lazy girl, just looking for love. I love people and warm up to anyone!  I very much like to cuddle up on a lap, but if that wasn't available, a kitty bed or couch would just fine by me! I love to look out the window and see all the things that are going on out there. Now my journey is still ongoing as I'm looking either for a New York foster home or an adopter out there who wants me forever. I was at a shelter along the South Carolina coast when Hurricane Matthew started heading our way. Our shelter was evacuated and I ended up a refugee at the LCAR St. Francis Farm- the people there saved me. When the storm passed, the shelter came back to collect all the refugees, but LCAR couldn't let me go back. I didn't deserved a caged life, not knowing if I would be euthanized next. So now I'm here at the farm, just waiting for someone to give me my chance. I live with a bunch of other kitty friends and I've even hung out with a few small dogs that I don't mind one bit! I know I'm not anyone's first pick- I'm bigger, darker and not the kitten that everyone seems to want. I can promise you this- whoever adopts me will be showered with love, affection and appreciation for finally giving me the happily ever after that I've always wanted!
Please think about adopting me or another adult cat because we need love too. We were once very much loved by someone and now need a second chance in a forever home
This baby is spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccinations, is FIV and FeLV/Feline Leukemia Negative, and ready to find a soft spot to land and enjoy a family!

About Last Chance Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We provide adoption services in NY, NJ, CT, RI, NH, MA and ME.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a Charitable, not -for profit organization, created to save the lives of animals. We rescue animals that are located in "KILL" facilities and underwrite the costs of relocating them to "NO KILL" facilities in hopes of finding them a forever family. We work with local veterinarians for spay-neuter/ medical services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home. We depend on donations to continue to save these helpless loving animals from being killed and hope that you will consider supporting our cause..... saving as many lives as we can.
