The Fuzzy Pet Foundation - (TFPF) recently welcomed Mooshie, 10-month old Maltipoo/Coton de Tulear, into our care. We affectionately call this adorable fluff-ball, "Moosh." And he is now ready for a forever home!
Mooshie's "family" dropped him off at TFPF claiming they were moving into a "brand new home" and did not want a dog to "dirty" their furniture or their yard. They showed absolutely no sadness or remorse about giving up their dog. Instead, they h anded the dog to us like yesterday's trash, told us he had "no name," and quite excitedly drove off in their car.
We aren't really surprised here as we deal with many, many individuals and families every day who somehow cannot or do not want to understand that our cats and dogs have feelings -- and that they require a lifetime commitment.
Mooshie, thankfully, has settled right into his foster home. He is forgiving, and he is friendly and loving to everyone and anyone he meets. He will hop right into our laps, give us kisses, and he is constantly wagging his tail. He has been socialized with other small dogs. He doesn't have a single mean bone in his body. And he never has a bad day. Mooshie is potty-trained, but given he is still a "puppy," he will have occasional accidents especially when he is introduced to new environments.
Mooshie has a healthy appetite and a clean bill of health. He is current on all vaccines. He was microchipped, neutered, de-fleaed, and professionally groomed. He weighs 17.8 pounds.
At this time, we are only considering adoption applications from California residents. To ADOPT, please e-mail us here: email@example.com
