THANK YOU for wanting a RESCUED DOG/PUP!!!!

My name is Conan, like the comedian, except I don't tell jokes and I don't get to interview any famous people.  I am a handsome Yellow Labrador and fairly on the big side of dogs.  I weigh about 85 pounds.  I am gentle, hardly bark and get along with everything from kids, dogs to chickens and even pigs.  I am always smiling which is great because I love life.  I used to have it hard but God Dogs Rescued me from the streets and now I couldn't be happier from a getting a second shot at life.  I am a bit scared up but don't let that stop you from adopting me because my foster family says the hair is growing in nicely.  I am basically your typical lab which means, loyal, great companion, and a fantastic family addition.  I love to go on walks so if you are up for seeing sunrises or sunsets, I am your guy.  I appreciate the simple things in life like chasing a toy your throw and bringing it back to you.  I can't turn away from a friendly tug-of-war challenge (psst...I might let you win)   or maybe not.  Thanks for stopping by  and checking me out.  Maybe we can meet and you can see for yourself what a cool pup I am.  Until next time....Conan.   Please email Juli at and she will help you out.

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!

All our dogs are socialized and we try to provide you a good understanding of the dog’s personality. Please visit our website for more information about what we do;  You will also find helpful information about transport, our adoption application and pictures of our all our dogs/pups looking for homes!!

Please contact DEBBIE DAVIS at LINCORJACK@YAHOO.COM,or JULI MARCHBANKS at GODSDOGSJULI@YAHOO.COM for more information and/or fill out an adoption application on our site.

About God's Dogs Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of loving and dedicated individuals who work together to save as many deserving animals as we can. We work tirelessly to assure the animals are well fed, socialized, are healthy and then find them the wonderful home they only dreamed of in the shelter or starving on the streets.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Please donate on the "Contact Us/Donate" page! Thank you!!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have local adoption events weekly at the Pets Barn on 1604 and Blanco in San Antonio.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption application required. Adoption fee of $150 for local adoptions and $350-450 for out of state adoptions (includes transport fees).
We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in Bexar county usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.
