When we received an urgent plea from the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) to help out with some of the overcrowded shelters in NC that were affected by Hurricane Matthew in October, we knew we had to help. We took in 15 animals that had to be moved so room could be made for animals that were displaced from the disaster. All will spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped before they leave our shelter.
10-20-16 Approx 7 months old. Tippi is a lovely girl with a soft black coat and big, beautiful eyes. One of several kittens who came to us from North Carolina after Hurricane Matthew forced local shelters to reach out to us when they became overcrowded with displaced animals; this little girl is most definitely a lover! As soon as you meet her, she’ll sit in your arms and purr like a well-tuned engine. She’d be happy to sit with you all day, or at least until she sees a string toy. Then she’ll show off her famous high-jumps, twisting in the air like an acrobat. Sweet, playful, and beautiful to boot… what more can you ask in a kitten? Come in and meet this little charmer today. She’s just waiting for your love!
*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
