My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi,

My name is Doodles and I’m an 11 month old, 14 lb. happy, healthy white bundle of
fur. I have not met a man, woman, dog, cat, or plant that I don’t like -- and my new
life is an adventure. Everything I see, feel, or taste is truly amazing, and it all
pretty much all goes in my mouth. The stairs were pretty scary when I first saw
them, but once I figured out that they weren’t actually two miles high, well I
discovered ‘I can do this”. Now I actually race my two foster brothers up them.. and
I win!

One of my favorite things to do is play tug-of-war with my foster brothers. If I get
bored while mom and dad are eating dinner, I just push my food dish around the
house. There are lots of toys at this house, but my favorite is the dish. My one
foster brother thought I was just a geekie little kid when I first moved in, and I
don’t think he really liked me -- but I’m so cute even he couldn’t resist me.
Mom says I love to sleep on the bed with the rest of the family where it’s safe and
warm. It took me about a day to master the doggie door, and I’m getting much
better at using it if you know what I mean. In fact, I was perfect all day
yesterday, and mom was very proud!

What would I like in a forever family? Well, for one thing I would really like
another dog my own size, and near my age to play with because I do have such fun
with my foster brothers. I would like a fenced in yard with a lawn, trees, and other
fun things to sniff. And going to doggy training would be such fun! I could learn to
walk on a leash better, learn things like sit and stay, improve my manners a little,
and maybe even learn to use a computer. Mom thinks it would be best for me to not
be in a home with small children because she’s afraid they’ll try to pick me up and
drop me. Older children would be fine, (You know how it is… Mothers always worry!

So if you are looking for a cute little guy who wants (and needs) lots of attention, is
smart, happy and has a whole lot of love to share, please complete our application at www.bichonfurkids.org/applications and ask for me!

P.S. Mom says I need to go to a home with parents that have a good sense of humor.
