Meet Minxie, who was born approximately September 12, 2016. Her mother, Daisy, is a “designer breed” called a Chiweenie, which is a mix of Chihuahua and Dachshund, and her father is unknown. Minxie is shy and quiet until it's play time! She loves to fetch a toy and jump for her favorite squeaky toy! This little girl is super cuddly and loves to lay right on her foster mom’s neck! She loves to be outside chasing leaves and likes the space heater, too, after coming indoors! She is doing well with potty training but still not 100%. Minxie loves cats and other dogs but may do best in a home with older children.
Since Minxie is too small to be altered at this time, the adopters will be provided with a voucher to have the puppy altered and microchipped by the time she is 6 months of age. This must be done at Nebraska Humane Society. If you prefer to take the puppy to your own vet, we will pay a PORTION of the cost ($60) to your vet of choice.
The suggested donation amount for Minxie is $425, which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue. To fill out an application, please visit the following web address: http://www.muddypawssecondchancerescue.com/#!adopt-a-pet/c7cy The adoptions for all of our dogs will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person.
