Remy's Story...
Are you the one I'm looking for?

Remy is on the lookout for a human companion that will snuggle with her, play with her and love her unconditionally. In return, she will be your faithful feline companion offering head butts, allorubs and a symphony of purrs!

This petite young girl with luminous green eyes is all about people. When you go into her cat community room, she immediately comes out of her cubby to wind herself around your legs. Remy knows how to solicit pets and lets your know with a rumbling purr how much she appreciates your taking the time to stroke her soft fur.

Once she has gotten her fill of pets, Remy loves to participate in a good play session, chasing strings and wand toys and tossing catnip toys.

Remy is a well-rounded, purrfect feline companion – are you the one she is looking for? Come meet Remy today and find out!

You can meet Remy at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remy, a Coronado Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
